Wolfsburg Farm Venue Policies
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and seamless experience for all guests and vendors,Wolfsburg Farm requires adherence to the following venue policies. These guidelines help us protect our historic property, maintain good standing with the community, and provide an exceptional event environment.
VENUE NOISE ORDINANCE & ACCESS PERIODS
- To maintain compliance with the town of Holderness, all outdoor, amplified noise must end by 10:00pm
- Thursday Rentals are from 12p-10p
- Friday & Sunday Rentals are from 11a-11p
- Saturday Rentals are from 10a-12p
- Full Weekend Rentals are from Friday at 11a to Sunday at 3p
- The Barn closes at 11p on Fridays
- The Barn closes at 12a on Saturdays
- Ceremony Rehearsals for 1-Day Rentals will be scheduled based on venue availability within 60 days of the wedding
- Vendors requesting setup times outside of the Access Period may be permitted. Please consult your Wolfsburg Farm Venue Coordinator for approval.

- (8) 48” Round Tables
- (1) 36” Round Wooden Sweetheart Table
- 100 Black Chiavari Chairs with Black Cushions
- (6) Wooden High Top Tables
- (3) White Patio Tables and (4) Chairs each
- (12) Rustic Ceremony Benches (6 per side that seat up to 8 people each)
- (3) 6’ Folding Tables
- Events with guest counts above 100 will require the couple to secure additional rentals.
- Larger guest counts may also necessitate the use of an on-site tent; this must be discussed with the venue in advance for proper planning and layout approval.

VENDOR & RENTAL COORDINATION
Unless the couple has hired a professional planner or upgraded
the Wolfsburg Farm Venue Coordinator to a planning package, the couple is responsible for:
- Booking all outside vendors
- Securing any required rentals
- Managing their event timeline and logistics
Free Spirits will provide a Preferred Vendors List to assist in the planning process, provided after the deposit is received.

Linens:
- Linens for 48" Round Guest Tables: 108" round
- Linens for 6’ BQT Tables: 90x132"
- Linens for 8’ BQT Tables: 90x156"
- Linens for Pool Table (if covering): (2) 90x156"
Catering + Requirements:
- All caterers will need to submit proof of insurance within 60 days of the wedding
- Every caterer is different in terms of what they will need for your wedding day. All new caterers should schedule a site visit with Wolfsburg Farm prior to your wedding date.
- They will have access to a sink with running water (cold water only) and 1 side of a large industrial fridge to use during the reception and to place any leftovers at the end of the wedding.
- You will need to check with your caterer to see what they need for tenting/tables/equipment as well as for food service (plates, napkins, silverware etc).
- Power is supplied up to 30 amps (2x 15 breakers) - Additional power will require a generator
Tabletop:
- Plates: small plates for cocktail apps, dinner plates, dessert plates
- Flatware: forks, knives, spoons
- Glassware: Water glasses for table, real bar glassware
ALCOHOL POLICY
- All alcohol service must be provided by Free Spirits.
- Clients have the option to provide their own alcohol, to be served at no cost to their guests (Dry-Hire) OR to use Free Spirits’ liquor license for either a cash bar paid for by guests, or a package bar paid for by the client.
- Self-serve beer & wine stations are not permitted on the wedding day but are allowed for the rehearsal dinner and/or send-off brunch as long as there is no hard alcohol and the guest count remains below 50 guests.
- IDs must be checked, and alcohol cannot be served to anyone under the age of 21 or to visibly intoxicated guests.
- Couples are responsible for ensuring compliance with all alcohol service regulations; violations may result in early bar closure or additional fees.
SMOKING & VAPING
- Smoking and vaping are permitted only outdoors and must take place away from the barn and building entrances.
- Wolfsburg Farm maintains two smoking receptacles on the grounds, and all cigarette waste must be disposed of in these containers.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
- Parking is provided on the farm for 60 Vehicles.
- Local transportation may be contracted for your event through one of our preferred vendors.
- Transport is recommended for heavy-drinking crowds
RESTROOMS
- Wolfsburg Farm provides on-site restrooms suitable for events with up to 100 guests, for barn receptions
- The couple will need to arrange for additional restrooms or shower facilities if:
- More than 25 guests will be staying on the property for camping, or
- The event falls outside of our regular operating season of May through October, the couple will need to arrange for additional restrooms or shower facilities.
- These rentals must be coordinated in advance to ensure adequate accommodations for all overnight guests.
DECOR & SETUP GUIDELINES
- Wolfsburg is a “what you bring, you must take” venue
- All decor is the responsibility of the guests
- Decor is not considered trash
- Flowers are the only exception. Extras will be composted.
- Candles! Please note all candles must be electric and no flame. Flame candles are only permitted in large votives placed floating on water.
WEATHER CONTINGENCY
- In the event of inclement weather all ceremonies can be relocated to the barn or under a client-provided tent.
PET POLICY
- Pets are welcome on the property for ceremonies and photos only, unless otherwise approved by Wolfsburg Farm.
- Pets must remain leashed, supervised, and cleaned up after at all times.
- A designated handler (not the wedding couple) is required for the duration of the pet’s time on-site.
- Couples are responsible for any damage caused by pets.
TENT & GLAMPING EVENTS
- Any event utilizing a tented reception or booking one of Wolfsburg Farm’s glamping tent packages must be reserved as a full weekend rental.
- This ensures adequate time for setup, breakdown, and an optimal guest experience.
- Glamping is limited to 10 tents or 20 total occupancy.
- Camping is allowed for more than 20 - however guests will be required to rent a bathroom and shower facility
FIRE & FIREWORKS POLICY
- No fires, sparklers, lanterns, fireworks, or pyrotechnics of any kind are permitted without prior written approval from Wolfsburg Farm.
- Any approved use will remain subject to all local fire regulations and active fire bans issued by the Town of Holderness.
- Violation of this policy may result in immediate extinguishment and additional fees.
NOISE & AMPLIFIED MUSIC
- Outdoor amplified sound must end by 10:00 PM, in compliance with local ordinances.
- Music may continue inside the barn until the earlier of:
- The end of the contracted venue rental time OR
- 12:00 AM (midnight)
- All entertainment vendors must comply with these limits
MISC
- Wifi- Basic Wifi is provided by the venue
- DJ Electrical - Basic 20 Amp service is provided on stage via quad box
- Pasture Tent Power is the responsibility of the guest (Generator)
- Shore Power can be provided for additional costs
- Bug/Mosquito Control can be requested for an additional fee
- Organic / Pesticide-free chemicals only
- Paid for by the client
